All made in the image of God

I believe, everybody is made in the image of God, those who appear to be dark, are just in a state of "sleep" the only thing that can awake them in their journey, if they choose to wake up, is Love, only Love ♥))))

Puzzle Pieces

I want to live madly, mad to talk, mad to share, mad to inspire and motivate, mad to save and mad to be saved. A deep desire for everything at the same, stay wide awake to my needs and the need of others, a continues and conscious need to love unconditionally and know that the madness I live is exactly what I am attracting my whole life through.

Make your own Music

I am like the tuner. I’ll make sure the instrument is in tune, but you play.
After the instrument is tuned, I give it back to you and say: “Play. You play."
With this instrument, create the sweetest music you have ever created.
Play like you have never played before. Play with your heart. For whom?
...Play for yourself. A lot of people don’t understand that: “That’s selfish.”
Do you want to know the secret of the best musicians in this world? They play for themselves.
When they do, it sounds wonderful to anyone who hears it.
But when a musician starts playing for others, the music is over.
A lot of musicians will be playing, and then all of a sudden, close their eyes.
They don’t want to see anyone. They just want to be one with the music,
because it has to come from the heart. It cannot come from the head.
Sing for yourself. Play for yourself. Play and enjoy.
That’s when real music comes out. You are alive. You have that beauty in you.
Accept that. How fortunate you are, to be able to feel that beauty and joy in your life.

Woman Of Many Faces

Puzzle Pieces
Woman of many faces.

Woman of many faces, you stand tall in the quest of life, interchanging the masks of your many faces. One to lead the other to follow and better yet the one to worship, but best of all to memorize, the embattled soul who stares into her eyes.

Who is to say which face you will receive, for she the puppeteer, conjurer, constant master changing without rehearsing. Instinct is her projectionist. Moving from face to face – reflection, deflection, captivating, ignoring, laughing, crying and finally dying…
A death of the younger mask..

Now old and decrepit her old mask she wears. Few see her, few care. Slowly she disappears into an invisible mask, her golden years to live.

Her memory in tact she opens the cupboard to once again to look at her many wonderful masks. Nostalgia sets, tears fall, but all at once her head she turns and through another tunnel in another room she sees her lover, her children, her grandchildren.

The invisible mask she carefully removes and proudly crowns herself with the mask of the wise, the matriarch, the woman who stood tall and created it all ……

Accepting correcton

Puzzle Pieces

To change your mind and defer to correcton is not to sacrifice your independence; for such an act is your own, in pursuance of your own impulse, your own judgement, and your own thinking.
~Marcus Aurelius~

We are often uncomfortable with accepting correction, or advice from others, feeling that to do so would be to give up our autonomy or mistrust our own instincts. Changing our minds or admitting a mistake is seen as a sign of weakness. However, if we care about self-improvement and the pursuit of truth, changing our minds can rather be a sign of intellectual strength and our independence: we show that we are no slave to error, that we do not take our vanity and insecurity to be more imporant than getting things right. In the light of values that we have thoughtfully chosen and made our own, we can adjust our opinions and admit our errors. The impulse to remain true to our values, the ability to correct ourselves, and the courage to diverge from comfortable paths comes from the best part of ourselves- our power  of rational thought.

Our everyday gifts.

Puzzle Pieces

It is no accicent we are so preoccupied with belonging, because at some level we all need to belong.

Whenever things aren't going our way, it is tempting to want to live in a parallel universe. Yet it is only by immersing our selves in daily life that we get to experience all it means to be human. Then we realise our mission is not only to celebrate the joy of friendship and family, work and home, but to deal lovingly and sensibly with friendships that have gone sour, with family feuds and office politics. As we do so, we start to see into the true nature of things - to look beyond everyone's fragilities and flaws, and realise that each of us is capable of immsense strength, imagination, creativity, joy, wisdom and compassion.

I AM YOU

Namaste

Namaste- I honour the place in you in which the entire universe dwells. I honour the place in you which is of love of truth, of light and of peace. When you are in that place in you and I am in the place in me, we are one.

Hold fast to dreams
For dreamers see tomorrow,
Keep safe your wishes,

Let faith be strong
To hold you in the sadness,
Reach out for love
and love will  see you you through.

Be light of heart
The world is full of wonder,
Go bravely on
Whatever comesyour way.
Have hope and courage,

Reach out for love
And love will light the day.

A traveller

Puzzle Pieces
A traveller once asked a wise man sitting at the city walls what the people inside were like.
“What are the people like in the city you come from?” replied the wise man. The stranger then pondered a moment.
“They’re generous and kind, they’re patient and good folk” he said.
“Well, that’s how you’ll find them here “ the wise man said.
A few days later another traveller came to city and asked the wise man the same question.
“What are the people like in the city you come from?” replied the wise man. Again there was some hesitation.
“The people are fairly mean, “ he said. They’re a grumpy lot and pretty miserable.”
“Well, that’s how you’ll find them here “ the wise man said.
The moral of the story, what you think you experience. Look for goodness and you will find it.

A flower in disguise

Puzzle Pieces
A weed  is no more than a flower in disguise.~James Lowell~

What makes a weed different from a flower, except the way we view it?

A dandelion shows us a sunny yellow flower in no way inferior to a daisy or a zinnia. Then the flower magically becomes a fluffy white ball, disappearing with the gentlest breeze. Can a zinnia do that?

All of us have weeds in our life-difficult tasks, difficult people, difficult times. Maybe we can learn to see these things as flowers instead of  weeds and enjoy rather than dread them.

We enjoy seeing a field covered with dandelions. Let us try as well to enjoy the metaphorical weeds in our lives. We may be surprised at the beauty and charm we find.

My treasure

Puzzle Pieces

I made a list of the things I love,
and the things that give me pleasure.
It grew and grew and I realise
that my life holds much great treasure.

So now if I'm feeling low
and the world seems so unkind
I glance along my treasure list
and leave my cares behind.

a thought ...

Puzzle Pieces
In the American civil War, Colonel "Jeb" Stuart used to end all letters and notes to his commander, Robert E. Lee, with the words,
"Yours to count on"
I would love to leave this thought with you.
When, in quiet moments throughout the day, we speak to own Commander we might follow the example, re-affirming we are always,
' Yours to count on.'

Thank You

Puzzle Pieces
You plan to thank your loved ones,
for wisdom that they've taught?
Don't tell them later, tell them now.
Your friends have kept you going,
with their comfort and support?
Don't tell them later tell them now.
For "now" is just the only time
We're guaranteed to own,
The only time that we might have
To speak, or write or phone.
So place it high upon your list,
No matter where or how,
Don't plan for sometime, never -
Tell them now!

HOW GREAT THOU ART

Puzzle Pieces

I am constantly amazed and in awe...
Our Universe is a relatively small one in galactic terms, but it is still huge and one tiny dot of light in that vastness is the star called Antares.
If Anatres were a football, the sun would be the size of a full stop.
If the sun were football sized, the earth would be a dot.
There are billions of people living on the earth and most if it is still "empty space".
Now, when I think of all this I sing to my self...♪♪

O Lord my God! When I in awesome wonder
Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made.
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power through-out the universe displayed.
Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee;
How great Thou art, how great Thou art!
Then sings my soul, My Savior God, to Thee:
How great Thou art, how great Thou art!
When through the woods and forest glades I wander
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees;
When I look down from lofty mountain grandeur
And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze:
And when I think that God, His Son not sparing,
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin:
When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart!
Then I shall bow in humble adoration,
And there proclaim, my God. how great Thou art!
