My friend often arranges spontaneous "little celebrations".
Friends, and family are invited and tea, coffee, colddrink is served, relaxing music is played and the supply of cakes and pastries never runs out.
These are always warm, happy times filled with lots of laughter, fun and good company.
When the host was asked if the effort of these get-togethers are becoming too much, she replied.
As a saying I once read puts it,
"The ornaments of a house are the friends who frequent it"
I hope we all have such ornaments in our home.
